SEE Project Counsellor
Salary: 5b £23,348 to £25,063 (pro rata)
10 hours per week with possible increase in the future. Based in Oxford and outreach locations in Oxfordshire.
1-year Fixed term contract with the possibility of an extension.
Qualifications: Qualified to Diploma level; BACP/UKCP accredited/registered or the equivalent.
Are you an inspiring woman with experience of working with girls and young women? This is a new vacancy to help develop OSARCC’s next stage of growth, expanding our Support, Empower, Educate (SEE) services to young women and girls aged 14 – 18 by providing a therapeutic counselling service.
The SEE project is a Big Lottery funded project which aims to provide holistic support to young women and girls who have experienced sexual violence. The project will work collaboratively with local partner agencies, expanding the local provision to young women and girls across Oxfordshire.
The successful applicant will provide counselling sessions for young women and girls who are survivors of rape and sexual violence, and will contribute to the administration, monitoring, and evaluation of the SEE Project.
The stated hours include 1.5 hours of supervision per month and team meetings
This role is subject to a receiving Enhanced Criminal Bureau check. The post holder will be eligible for 28 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays and a 5% pension contribution. OSARCC offers flexible working.
